|Gargnano – S. Valentino hermitage|
|St. Valentin’s hermitage
Recently restored, this little church was built as a votive offerting after a plague in the 1600s. It is now a destination for strolls on the muletrack which runs from Sasso to S. Valentino, at 700 m. on the sea level, and spots a wonderful sight on the lake.
|Gardone R. – Botanical Garten|

|Gargnano is a large municipality consisting of 13 hamlets. You could call it a town sandwiched between two lakes. The main town and the hamlets of Villa and Bogliaco are on the shores of Lake Garda, and the Gargnano hinterland rises gradually up to Lake Valvestino, a fiord set between the Valvestino mountains.|
